Insomnia can be caused by anxiety, a vitamin B deficiency, iodine deficiency, acid brain, electrolyte imbalance, and/or excess calcium and/or fluoride in the pineal gland, etc.

Oral Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) and Honey: Mix two teaspoons of ACV with two teaspoons of honey in one cup of water and drink.

If the ACV-honey remedy does not work, try the following remedies one by one until one works for you but do not try them all at once:
      1. The B Vitamins: Take 500 to 1000 milligrams of niacinamide (vitamin B3) (reduces anxiety) before sleep. Also take a B Complex (B50 / 100) one to two times a week.
      2. Oral Iodine (e.g. Lugol’s solution): Take two to four drops of iodine in one cup of water before sleep.
      3. Alkalization (alkalizes the body, especially the brain and also removes excess calcium): Add 1/2 a teaspoon each of (tri)sodium citrate and (tri)potassium citrate to one cup of water one to two times a day (morning and/or one to two hours before sleep).
      4. Oral Borax (sodium tetraborate) (a natural powdered laundry detergent) (removes fluoride): Mix 1/8 teaspoon (women) to 1/4 teaspoon (men) of borax to a liter of water and drink throughout the day for four to five days a week (or you can also add a pinch of borax to one cup of water four times a day). DO NOT CONFUSE BORAX WITH BORIC ACID! DO NOT TAKE BORIC ACID IN PLACE OF BORAX!

if go to a natural/homeopathy store ask for Valerian root or Melatonin.
Both are natural sleep aids to be taken roughly 30 minutes before plan to sleep. As sparker said drink as a tea.
Kava is also meant to be good as a sleeping aid.
Another method is to hold your breath and then slowly exhale, this increases the amount of carbon dioxide in the body which is a natural anesthesia.
Then ok course the old things of counting sheep, which is supposed to help as focuses brain on one thing and allows other areas to go to sleep.
Other than that cut our caffeine, exercises about an hour before sleep.
      Hope something helps
